## A good listing should lead to a realistic next step.

Give inventory teams a clear view of the discrepancies that can confuse a customer.

**Where can a vehicle’s status become unclear between systems?**

A vehicle can be on its way, assigned to another store or reserved while a marketing feed still presents an earlier state. A customer arriving with the wrong expectation can leave the sales team explaining the data rather than helping with the purchase. The useful question is which discrepancy needs action now.

AutoSync’s TAdvantage already supports vehicle discovery, inventory integration and merchandising for Canadian dealerships, with AutoTrader.ca-related tools and strategy support. HiveSilo’s proposed contribution is a source-linked review of stock states, delivery context and store ownership across approved systems.

## Make stock status easier to trust.

Connect the listing expectation to the inventory team’s current evidence.

[Talk through your use case](https://hivesilo.com/integrations/tadvantage#fit)

**Is the unit actually available?**

Distinguish on-lot stock from reserved, ordered or in-transit vehicles.

**Which source needs correction?**

Identify whether the website, export or underlying inventory record holds the outdated state.

**Who owns the promise?**

Route the discrepancy to the location responsible for that vehicle and message.

**See the intelligence behind the next move**

### Compare meaningful stock states.

Use approved inventory observations and the dealer’s definitions for demo, certified, reserved and in-transit units. [[P031-S01]](https://hivesilo.com/integrations/tadvantage#source-P031-S01)

Useful output: A discrepancy brief that explains what the customer could misunderstand.

### Check the feed’s contribution.

Separate a missing image or late export from a genuine availability conflict. Media synchronization and vehicle-state data need their own confirmed scopes. [[P031-S01]](https://hivesilo.com/integrations/tadvantage#source-P031-S01) [[P031-S05]](https://hivesilo.com/integrations/tadvantage#source-P031-S05)

Useful output: A correction request naming the source and evidence needed.

### Measure clearer expectations.

Review the effect of approved corrections using permitted aggregate enquiry outcomes and the group’s existing reporting. [[P031-S01]](https://hivesilo.com/integrations/tadvantage#source-P031-S01) [[P031-S02]](https://hivesilo.com/integrations/tadvantage#source-P031-S02)

Useful output: A focused view of recurring status problems and resolved cases.

**The car is in transit. The enquiry assumes it is on the lot.**

Example: a Canadian dealer group receives enquiries about a vehicle whose current inventory record shows an expected arrival, while an approved storefront observation suggests immediate availability.

### Start with TAdvantage

TAdvantage supplies the vehicle-search and merchandising experience. The dealer’s inventory and delivery records establish the current operational meaning.

### Bring the relevant context together

- Approved vehicle state, store reference and observation time.
- Permitted website or export-feed status.
- Dealer-maintained arrival estimate and reservation status.

### Make the decision

Have the inventory owner confirm the unit’s actual state, then correct the authoritative source or request clearer website messaging.

### A useful output

One status comparison with the customer expectation at risk and the responsible store.

### Keep responsibility clear

Group inventory operations manager and the store’s digital lead.

#### Hold and ask

Pause when arrival estimates are unconfirmed, ownership is disputed or the message is controlled by an OEM. The inventory owner resolves the promise first.

#### Record the outcome

Record vehicle reference, compared states, source ages, reviewer and confirmed correction. Personal enquiry details are unnecessary. [[P031-S01]](https://hivesilo.com/integrations/tadvantage#source-P031-S01) [[P031-S05]](https://hivesilo.com/integrations/tadvantage#source-P031-S05)

## Require control before AI acts.

Confirm a vehicle’s real status before changing its promise across channels.

- 1

### Request

An AI proposes an action

- 2

### Check

Policy and authority

- 3

### Approve

Named owner, when required

- 4

### Act

Within permitted scope

- 5

### Record

Keep the action, outcome and accountable owner traceable.

Unclear authority? Hold the action. Resolve with the named, authorized owner before proceeding.

Controls apply to actions routed through the configured HiveSilo boundary.

**Read the governance and escalation requirements**

Make accountable authorization a condition of putting AI to work. HiveSilo describes an operating layer that combines buyer intelligence, customer-data privacy and governance. Your deployment should establish the responsible owner and permitted scope before an agent can change records, contact buyers or trigger campaigns.

HiveSilo documents policy checks before execution, default denial when authorization is unclear, human checkpoints, scoped stop controls and decision receipts. These controls apply to actions routed through its policy boundary. Keep decisions, required approvals and held actions traceable as the workflow progresses, then record the action, outcome and accountable owner. [[HS6]](https://hivesilo.com/integrations/tadvantage#source-HS6) [[HS7]](https://hivesilo.com/integrations/tadvantage#source-HS7)

**Who**

Identify the acting agent or person and name the business owner accountable for this workflow.

**What**

Define the action and permitted data categories before execution.

**Where**

Specify the approved system, destination and customer custody boundary.

**How**

Require an approved execution path, access scope and applicable policy checks.

**When**

Set the permitted conditions and approval validity; recheck authority before a held action resumes.

**Why**

Record the business purpose and the basis for allowing, denying or holding the action.

### An edge case should stop the affected action.

For the deployment, require unresolved authority, an unapproved destination or an out-of-policy action to remain on hold. A timeout or unanswered approval request must not become permission to proceed.

### Who gets the question?

Agree a named owner and authorized delegate for each workflow. A proposed responsibility model is: sales for buyer outreach and lead handling; marketing for campaign spend and audiences; security or privacy for data-access exceptions; the platform owner for connector or runtime changes. Test the escalation route. If no authorized reviewer is available, keep the action held.

HiveSilo can recommend reviewing an in-transit listing. The inventory manager validates the arrival context, while the digital lead makes the approved correction through the supported AutoSync process.

Named-owner routing is configured and demonstrated for each deployment. Governance covers actions routed through its configured boundary; external systems remain responsible for actions outside that scope.

Vehicle-state and aggregate journey signals can support the review without sharing customer identities. Keep matching and contact permissions within the approved dealer-controlled environment. **TAdvantage connection & briefing scope**

### Confirm the inventory fields as well as the feed.

AutoSync advertises inventory integration for TAdvantage. Its GM merchandising description documents photos moving from the Dealer App to the website directly or by export feed. That establishes a media route; verify vehicle-state fields, refresh timing and destination approval separately.

As reviewed on October 25, 2026, the GM/Cadillac Canada programme page states that net-new AutoSync website enrollments are temporarily paused, while existing customers are unaffected. Confirm programme eligibility for a new website plan. Neither WordPress access nor an AutoSync relationship grants unrestricted CRM history.

### A useful fit when

For Canadian dealer groups with material inventory across locations and enough digital demand to justify ongoing status review.

- In-transit, demo and reserved stock appears across multiple channels.
- Inventory and digital teams can agree the authoritative source.
- The group can act on discrepancies and observe the resulting enquiry quality.

### Consider the fit

- If every source already agrees and local staff can maintain it easily, the added review may be unnecessary.
- Confirm the applicable OEM programme and current website enrollment conditions before planning a new deployment.

In your enquiry, name TAdvantage and the business decision. Please leave out client records, credentials and sensitive samples.

**Eight questions before your briefing**

-

**1. What does TAdvantage already do for inventory discovery?**

AutoSync describes predictive vehicle search, quick-view vehicle pages, inventory integration and merchandising tools, including AutoTrader.ca-related features. These remain the native storefront capabilities. The proposed HiveSilo review addresses a different question: whether the current availability and ownership evidence across approved dealer systems supports the expectation a particular listing creates for the customer. [[P031-S01]](https://hivesilo.com/integrations/tadvantage#source-P031-S01) [[P031-S02]](https://hivesilo.com/integrations/tadvantage#source-P031-S02)

-

**2. Why treat in-transit and on-lot vehicles differently?**

They require different next steps from the buyer and sales team. An arriving unit may need a confirmed estimate, while an on-lot unit may be ready for a visit or already reserved. Use the dealer’s own definitions and authoritative records rather than infer status from photos. Where the evidence conflicts, ask the inventory owner before changing the message.

-

**3. Does the documented photo feed include every inventory field?**

Not necessarily. The GM merchandising description establishes a route for photos from the AutoSync Dealer App to TAdvantage or an export feed. It does not by itself establish every stock-state field or third-party permission. Confirm the permitted vehicle data, destination, update cadence and sold-unit handling independently before relying on that feed for availability decisions. [[P031-S05]](https://hivesilo.com/integrations/tadvantage#source-P031-S05)

-

**4. Can existing GM or Cadillac customers use this planning approach?**

The programme page reviewed on October 25, 2026 distinguishes existing customers from a temporary pause on net-new AutoSync website enrollments. Existing customers are stated to be unaffected by that pause. A proposed inventory review still depends on their actual approved feeds and workflow; a new website enrollment should first be checked against current programme conditions. [[P031-S04]](https://hivesilo.com/integrations/tadvantage#source-P031-S04)

-

**5. What if a vehicle is shared by two locations?**

Identify the store responsible for its availability and the rules for transfers, reservations and promotion. Shared visibility does not mean either store can make the same delivery promise. If responsibility is disputed, hold the recommendation for the group inventory manager. The resulting brief should make the ownership issue clear without exposing unrelated customer or deal information.

-

**6. Does an AutoSync relationship automatically include Activix data?**

No. AutoSync markets several products with different roles. The TAdvantage website scope should not be treated as blanket permission to read a CRM or reuse marketplace data. If a future decision needs an Activix outcome, validate that access, purpose and customer authorization separately, keeping identity mapping in the approved environment and requesting only the necessary signal. [[P031-S01]](https://hivesilo.com/integrations/tadvantage#source-P031-S01) [[P031-S02]](https://hivesilo.com/integrations/tadvantage#source-P031-S02)

-

**7. How do we handle a Convertus-era or migrated website?**

TRADER’s historical material connects Convertus with TAdvantage’s development, but brand history does not prove identical current feeds or event names. Confirm the live tenant generation and compare actual field meanings during scoping. Treat a migration as a reason to verify mappings and freshness, rather than assume the old and new records can be combined without review. [[P031-S03]](https://hivesilo.com/integrations/tadvantage#source-P031-S03)

-

**8. What would show the review is commercially useful?**

Begin with a specific mismatch, such as in-transit units represented as available. Track validated corrections, time to resolve them and permitted aggregate outcomes from related enquiries. Compare that with the staff effort required. The aim is a clearer customer expectation and a more useful conversation, not a claim that every inventory correction automatically produces a vehicle sale.
