Archway Platform integration. Know what is ready to release.
A reporting package can depend on people and information outside the financial books. HiveSilo can help your family office coordinate approved exceptions, missing confirmations and accountable handoffs before the reporting owner makes the release decision.
Start with a conversation. No client records needed.

The report may be complete while the handoff is not.
Make the dependency outside the books visible.
Which unresolved dependency could change the reporting release?
A controller may have a finished financial package while a property manager is still confirming an operating assumption. The concern is not necessarily an accounting error. It can be a mismatch between the report’s period, an external confirmation and the explanation the family expects to receive.
Archway already combines aggregation, accounting and reporting on one ledger, with approvals and a branded portal. Its partnership announcement names Fingerboard Family Office as an actual user. HiveSilo can focus on a distinct coordination question: whether permitted evidence outside the ledger is ready for the reporting owner’s review.
Bring the release conversation back to the evidence.
Coordinate the remaining dependency without creating another set of books.
Talk through your use case- Define what could change the package.
- Separate a material unresolved confirmation from an optional narrative improvement. Use the controller’s definition rather than allowing an automated priority to decide which financial information matters.
- Locate the responsible source.
- Attach the reporting period, confirmation owner and last reliable update to each permitted exception. Distinguish an unanswered request from a genuine conflict between operational evidence and the current reporting explanation.
- Agree the next accountable step.
- The release owner can request clarification, approve an appropriate explanation or retain a hold. Record that decision so downstream teams do not interpret a completed checklist as authorization to distribute a package.

A dependency register tied to the period
Represent agreed reporting dependencies with status, date and source ownership. Avoid copying underlying financial schedules simply to establish whether a required confirmation has arrived. [AWY1]
Useful output: A period-specific coordination view.
An explanation for the exception
Show why a missing confirmation may affect the reporting narrative. Keep accounting reconciliation in Archway and refer disputed financial figures back to the authorized finance team. [AWY3]
Useful output: A concise exception brief.
A visible release handoff
Record who reviewed the dependency and what response they authorized. Preserve any unresolved limits in the handoff instead of presenting a green status when a meaningful question remains open. [AWY1]
Useful output: An accountable release decision.
A property update arrives after the reporting cut-off.
Imagine a family office preparing its quarterly package. An owned property business supplies an updated operating outlook after the finance team has closed the reporting period. The controller needs to decide how to handle the explanation.
Start with Archway Platform
Archway retains the ledger, partnership accounting, financial reports and client delivery controls. This example concerns the external confirmation process, not a replacement reconciliation engine.
Bring the relevant context together
- The permitted report-period status and release checklist.
- A dated confirmation category supplied by the property business.
- The reporting owner’s materiality rules and escalation contacts.
Make the decision
The controller reviews whether the late update needs a separate explanation before distribution.
A useful output
A release brief distinguishing completed books from unresolved external context.
Keep responsibility clear
The controller determines the financial treatment; the reporting owner authorizes communication.
Hold and ask
Hold distribution if an authorized reviewer cannot resolve a material conflict or the external information lacks permission.
Record the outcome
Keep the source period, late update, review decision and permitted release instruction together. [AWY1] [AWY3]

Read the governance and escalation requirements
Make accountable authorization a condition of putting AI to work. HiveSilo describes an operating layer that combines buyer intelligence, customer-data privacy and governance. Your deployment should establish the responsible owner and permitted scope before an agent can change records, contact buyers or trigger campaigns.
HiveSilo documents policy checks before execution, default denial when authorization is unclear, human checkpoints, scoped stop controls and decision receipts. These controls apply to actions routed through its policy boundary. Keep decisions, required approvals and held actions traceable as the workflow progresses, then record the action, outcome and accountable owner. [HS6][HS7]
- Who
- Identify the acting agent or person and name the business owner accountable for this workflow.
- What
- Define the action and permitted data categories before execution.
- Where
- Specify the approved system, destination and customer custody boundary.
- How
- Require an approved execution path, access scope and applicable policy checks.
- When
- Set the permitted conditions and approval validity; recheck authority before a held action resumes.
- Why
- Record the business purpose and the basis for allowing, denying or holding the action.
An edge case should stop the affected action.
For the deployment, require unresolved authority, an unapproved destination or an out-of-policy action to remain on hold. A timeout or unanswered approval request must not become permission to proceed.
Who gets the question?
Agree a named owner and authorized delegate for each workflow. A proposed responsibility model is: sales for buyer outreach and lead handling; marketing for campaign spend and audiences; security or privacy for data-access exceptions; the platform owner for connector or runtime changes. Test the escalation route. If no authorized reviewer is available, keep the action held.
The finance team controls journal entries, valuations and the treatment of information received after a reporting cut-off. A workflow may request review, but only the named authorized owner can approve the relevant communication or action. Record the decision after the action as well as the approval before it.
Named-owner routing is configured and demonstrated for each deployment. Governance covers actions routed through its configured boundary; external systems remain responsible for actions outside that scope.

Scoped destinations and actions

Control through the full relationship
Review permitted use, export, retention, deletion and offboarding terms. Customer-controlled keys are one control; they do not establish every contractual exit right. [HS3][HS4]
A dependency register may need a report period and owner role rather than beneficiary names or full account balances. Keep the detailed financial package and identity mapping in the controlled source environment. Review small-group and entity-level signals carefully: an uncommon property or a unique ownership structure may identify the family even without a name.
Customer identity custody is separate from HiveSilo account, billing and support records. Re-identifiable pseudonymous data is not anonymous.

Agree the precise report or status route.
Archway documents direct feeds and file-based, API-based or manual ingestion for some sources. An inbound capability does not establish unrestricted outward API access. The engagement must identify a customer-authorized report, status extract or other agreed interface and its allowed use.
Archway’s accounting controls, reporting and integration relationships already do substantial work. The Arch partnership was described as an initial beta in its October 2025 announcement; that date does not prove availability for every customer today. Verify the relevant implementation and preserve existing source and processor restrictions.
A useful fit when
Useful when reporting crosses a complex operating structure.
- Family offices coordinating external managers, operating companies and multiple reporting owners.
- Teams that can share permitted status information while retaining the books in their existing environment.
- Controllers seeking clearer ownership of exceptions outside accounting reconciliation.
Consider the fit
- A straightforward portfolio with one reporting owner may not justify an additional coordination layer.
- Use the native reporting process where it already resolves the complete requirement.

Eight questions before your briefing
1.What is Archway Platform used for?
Its core is an integrated financial environment for accounting, aggregation and reporting across complex wealth structures. The coordination workflow here concerns an external dependency affecting the release conversation. [AWY1]
2.Is Archway the same product as Arch?
No. They are separate platforms. The partnership announcement names Fingerboard Family Office as a joint user; a connection between the vendors does not make their products aliases. [AWY2]
3.Is Archway still part of SEI?
Archway’s August 2026 announcement says it completed its transition away from SEI and marked full operational independence. Historical SEI references should be understood in that dated context. [AWY2]
5.Would HiveSilo close or reconcile the books?
That is outside this workflow. Archway and authorized finance staff retain the financial record. HiveSilo can help coordinate the separate evidence and people needed for a reporting decision.
6.Does an inbound API imply an outward data feed?
No. Direction, scope, tenant rights and third-party terms must be agreed for the exact route. A vendor’s published ingestion options should not be represented as a universal export contract. [AWY3]
7.How should a late operational update be handled?
Route it to the controller with its source date and reporting-period relationship. The authorized reviewer decides the treatment; an automated summary should not silently change a financial statement.
8.What is a useful starting point?
Bring one sanitized reporting dependency and the role responsible for release. Define the reporting period, required confirmation and escalation rule before discussing a broader data connection.
