Avinode connection: proposed

View scope

Give your Avinode enquiries a more personal next step.

Avinode helps your brokerage source and sell charter. Explore HiveSilo to connect your own permitted enquiry context with the promises behind the customer relationship, so the right broker knows what matters before responding.

Start with a conversation. No client records needed.

The itinerary is only part of the request.

A returning customer may need more than a suitable quotation. Their existing commitment deserves attention too.

Which enquiry needs a senior broker’s attention?

Two enquiries can ask for a similar journey while needing very different conversations. One may involve an existing service commitment, an unresolved account question or an agreed communication preference held in your brokerage’s CRM. That context can change the appropriate owner and response.

Avinode already offers sourcing, messaging and customer-facing routes. TripManager brings quotes, contracts, payments and booking history together. HiveSilo’s proposed role is to connect additional, permitted evidence from your own customer relationship and help the broker decide how to proceed.

Know the customer commitment behind the enquiry.

Start with your own authorized customer context and preserve the broker’s judgment.

Build a relevant enquiry brief.

Proposed: relate an authorized end-client lead to customer-controlled relationship evidence. [P230-S05]

Useful output: The minimum context needed for a thoughtful response.

Keep sourcing and judgment together.

Proposed: show the broker which account facts matter while Avinode continues to support sourcing and TripManager supports the booking journey. [P230-S02]

Useful output: A broker-owned next step, not an automatic availability promise.

Respect permitted use.

Proposed: carry only approved signals into prioritization, with storage and deletion rules applied to the connection. [P230-S04]

Useful output: A traceable review inside the agreed data boundary.

A familiar customer with a different need.

Example: an existing account submits a new enquiry while a service commitment remains open in your brokerage’s CRM.

Start with Avinode

Avinode supplies the approved enquiry route and charter sourcing; TripManager supports the booking and contract workflow.

Bring the relevant context together

  • Approved end-client lead reference and minimum itinerary requirements.
  • Broker-controlled account ownership, service agreements and previous case resolutions.
  • Consent and communication preferences held in the brokerage's authorized CRM.

Make the decision

Which of the brokerage's own incoming enquiries needs a senior commercial response because its permitted account context reveals a service commitment that the standard enquiry workflow does not resolve?

A useful output

A source-linked enquiry brief explaining the customer's relevant commercial requirement. A suggested assignment and response outline for a named broker.

Hold and ask

Hold when API use or storage is unapproved, the enquiry duplicates an existing request, an account match is uncertain, or an operator quote has expired. Do not infer availability or flight safety from stale commercial evidence.

Record the outcome

Store only explicitly permitted references, consent state, evidence time and reviewer outcome. Preserve vendor deletion requirements and avoid building a parallel marketplace dataset. [P230-S04] [P230-S05]

Require control before AI acts.

Before an enquiry becomes an outreach task, confirm that the lead, its use and the intended broker are all authorized.

  4. Act

  5. Record

Read the governance and escalation requirements

Make accountable authorization a condition of putting AI to work. HiveSilo describes an operating layer that combines buyer intelligence, customer-data privacy and governance. Your deployment should establish the responsible owner and permitted scope before an agent can change records, contact buyers or trigger campaigns.

HiveSilo documents policy checks before execution, default denial when authorization is unclear, human checkpoints, scoped stop controls and decision receipts. These controls apply to actions routed through its policy boundary. Keep decisions, required approvals and held actions traceable as the workflow progresses, then record the action, outcome and accountable owner. [HS6][HS7]

Who
Identify the acting agent or person and name the business owner accountable for this workflow.
What
Define the action and permitted data categories before execution.
Where
Specify the approved system, destination and customer custody boundary.
How
Require an approved execution path, access scope and applicable policy checks.
When
Set the permitted conditions and approval validity; recheck authority before a held action resumes.
Why
Record the business purpose and the basis for allowing, denying or holding the action.

An edge case should stop the affected action.

For the deployment, require unresolved authority, an unapproved destination or an out-of-policy action to remain on hold. A timeout or unanswered approval request must not become permission to proceed.

Who gets the question?

Agree a named owner and authorized delegate for each workflow. A proposed responsibility model is: sales for buyer outreach and lead handling; marketing for campaign spend and audiences; security or privacy for data-access exceptions; the platform owner for connector or runtime changes. Test the escalation route. If no authorized reviewer is available, keep the action held.

Route an internal review task, or draft a response in the approved customer system. The broker remains responsible for sourcing, price confirmation, contracting and communication.

Named-owner routing is configured and demonstrated for each deployment. Governance covers actions routed through its configured boundary; external systems remain responsible for actions outside that scope.

How your data stays under your control

HiveSilo's published architecture keeps customer identities and re-identifiable data inside the customer's enclave. HiveSilo receives permitted non-PII signals and scores. Validate that boundary for the exact workflow before connecting a new source. [HS4]

Customer-controlled keys

Documented BYOK options cover AWS, Azure and GCP. Review key ownership, revocation and the deployment's access policy with your security team. [HS3]

Protected processing

The architecture describes confidential computing and trusted execution environments. Request deployment-specific attestation and data-flow evidence for your CISO's review. [HS3]

Scoped destinations and actions

Agree which systems receive outputs and what actions are authorized. Keep identity handling within the documented customer boundary. [HS2][HS4]

Control through the full relationship

Review permitted use, export, retention, deletion and offboarding terms. Customer-controlled keys are one control; they do not establish every contractual exit right. [HS3][HS4]

Customer identities, passenger records and re-identifiable account matching stay inside your approved environment. The proposed HiveSilo layer receives only permitted non-PII signals and scores. Hashes and reference numbers are not automatically anonymous; screen them before release. Avinode and your other providers retain their separate contractual data responsibilities.

Customer identity custody is separate from HiveSilo account, billing and support records. Re-identifiable pseudonymous data is not anonymous.

Avinode connection & briefing scope

A connection built around your permissions.

API Basics specifies support-maintained company-scoped connections, permission restrictions and approved production use cases. It prohibits systematic harvesting and requires explicit permission to store or share returned data.

The documented End Client Leads route requires a supported lead-generating solution, an approved API connection and a backend webhook receiver. A ClientLeads notification carries a reference; the integration then retrieves and maps the lead to an external CRM or quoting tool.

The lead guide requires handling duplicate notifications, secure backend credentials and sandbox verification. It does not authorize harvesting other members' customer information or treating all marketplace data as the broker's property.

[P230-S04] [P230-S05]

A useful fit when

Most useful for enterprise brokerages with repeat accounts, meaningful enquiry volume and relationship evidence outside the booking flow.

  • An approved end-client lead source.
  • Senior account ownership for valuable relationships.
  • A specific follow-up decision that needs external customer context.

Consider the fit

  • Basic quote handling may already be covered by TripManager.
  • The business case should come from better account decisions, not collecting more marketplace data.

In your enquiry, name Avinode and the business decision. Please leave out client records, credentials and sensitive samples.

Eight questions before your briefing
  1. 1.How is this different from Avinode TripManager?

TripManager already organizes quotes, contracts, payment steps and booking history. The proposed HiveSilo layer looks at an additional question: whether a commitment in your own CRM or service record changes the broker’s next response. It should add useful context without recreating sourcing, contract signing or the native booking journey. [P230-S02]

  2. 2.Which Avinode leads could be used?

The documented End Client Leads route supports enquiries from an approved lead-generating solution. An authorized connection receives a notification reference and retrieves the permitted lead for mapping into a CRM or quoting tool. The exact source, account ownership and onward use must be agreed for your brokerage’s workflow. [P230-S05]

  3. 3.Can we build a wider database of marketplace customers?

The proposed use is your brokerage’s own permitted enquiries, not marketplace harvesting. Avinode’s API rules restrict systematic collection and require permission to store or share returned data. Those terms shape the design from the beginning, including what may be retained, for how long and which approved system receives it. [P230-S04]

  4. 4.What does an enquiry brief contain?

A brief could identify an unresolved service promise, the responsible broker and the relevant customer-approved evidence. Identifying details remain inside your controlled environment, with only permitted non-PII signals reaching HiveSilo. The broker checks current operator information before making a price, availability or service commitment to the customer. [P230-S05]

  5. 5.What happens when the same enquiry arrives twice?

The documented lead route requires handling duplicate and parallel notifications. The proposed review should connect them to the existing enquiry, confirm the source state and avoid creating competing assignments. An ambiguous customer match or conflicting request revision pauses follow-up until the brokerage resolves which record is current. [P230-S05]

  6. 6.Who makes the final charter decision?

Your broker retains responsibility for sourcing, price confirmation, contracting and customer communication. Aircraft operators retain their operational and safety responsibilities. HiveSilo’s proposed commercial brief helps organize relevant evidence; it does not determine aircraft suitability, approve a flight or treat an old quote as a present availability guarantee. [P230-S01]

  7. 7.Is Avinode API access the same across company accounts?

No. API connections are company-scoped and maintained through Avinode support, with permissions and approved production use. A brokerage operating several companies must address each applicable connection and data boundary. A login or group relationship alone does not authorize access to every account or allow unrestricted sharing of returned information. [P230-S04]

  8. 8.What makes this worth an enterprise briefing?

Bring a repeatable situation where an enquiry is handled poorly because account context is fragmented. We can map the missing evidence, the broker who should act and the value of a better response. The first conversation needs a workflow description, not customer lists, passenger documents or account credentials. [P230-S02]
