DealerSocket CRM. Know what happened after the handoff.
Forwarding a lead is only one step. Explore HiveSilo to connect permitted DealerSocket handoff signals with partner outcomes, so your BDC can see which customer requests still need an owner.
Start with a conversation. No client records needed.

More forwards do not always mean more fulfilled requests.
Evaluate the result of a partner handoff, alongside the CRM’s own sales and communication tools.
What becomes invisible when another provider takes the next step?
An appointment-setting or vehicle-preparation partner may accept work outside your main CRM workflow. The dealership then needs to distinguish a request awaiting acceptance, work still underway and work completed but not reflected in the record. Treating them all as open follow-up can create duplicate effort and a confusing customer experience.
DealerSocket already manages leads, activities and customer history, and Solera markets AI lead scoring, conversational responses and sales coaching. HiveSilo’s proposed focus here is the evidence between organizations: what was handed over, what came back and who is responsible when the two disagree.
Turn a handoff into an accountable outcome.
Help managers judge partner performance by fulfilled work and evidence quality.
Talk through your use case- Was the request accepted?
- Separate an unanswered forward from a partner working within its agreed response window.
- Did the work get finished?
- Compare the partner’s completion signal with the relevant open CRM event.
- Does this partner improve the experience?
- Review completion, delays and disputed ownership rather than lead counts alone.

Trace the forward.
Use the approved outbound route and a permitted partner acknowledgement to establish the same handoff on both sides. Minimize the payload to the service requested. [P008-S02]
Useful output: A handoff timeline with accepted, pending and unknown states.
Reconcile the outcome.
Compare approved completion evidence with the current CRM event. Leave closed, sold or duplicate events out of unnecessary follow-up. [P008-S01] [P008-S02]
Useful output: A manager’s queue of contradictory or missing outcomes.
Return a useful next step.
Where the actual interface permits it, prepare an activity or work-note update for approval. Otherwise give the dealer team a clear internal brief. [P008-S02] [P008-S03]
Useful output: One scoped task, its owner and a reason the action is appropriate.
An appointment partner says “done.” The CRM event remains open.
Example: a BDC forwards a customer request to an external appointment-setting team. Its completion status arrives, but the matching event still appears unresolved in the dealership workflow.
Start with DealerSocket CRM
DealerSocket supports lead forwarding and selected inbound activities or updates; its native CRM and AI tools continue to manage the sales relationship.
Bring the relevant context together
- Approved handoff reference and requested service.
- Partner acknowledgement, completion status and event time.
- Current CRM event state, owner and contact suppression.
Make the decision
Resolve whether the work is genuinely complete before creating another task. Escalate a missing or ambiguous match to the partner owner.
A useful output
A reconciliation brief linking the requested work, partner evidence and CRM action that needs review.

Hold and ask
Pause on duplicate forwards, a closed event, opt-out or uncertain matching. A missing acknowledgement may be a feed issue, so verify before judging the partner.
Record the outcome
Keep the handoff reference, evidence times, approval, task identifier and outcome. Do not retain the full lead body or financial deal data. [P008-S01] [P008-S02]

Read the governance and escalation requirements
Make accountable authorization a condition of putting AI to work. HiveSilo describes an operating layer that combines buyer intelligence, customer-data privacy and governance. Your deployment should establish the responsible owner and permitted scope before an agent can change records, contact buyers or trigger campaigns.
HiveSilo documents policy checks before execution, default denial when authorization is unclear, human checkpoints, scoped stop controls and decision receipts. These controls apply to actions routed through its policy boundary. Keep decisions, required approvals and held actions traceable as the workflow progresses, then record the action, outcome and accountable owner. [HS6][HS7]
- Who
- Identify the acting agent or person and name the business owner accountable for this workflow.
- What
- Define the action and permitted data categories before execution.
- Where
- Specify the approved system, destination and customer custody boundary.
- How
- Require an approved execution path, access scope and applicable policy checks.
- When
- Set the permitted conditions and approval validity; recheck authority before a held action resumes.
- Why
- Record the business purpose and the basis for allowing, denying or holding the action.
An edge case should stop the affected action.
For the deployment, require unresolved authority, an unapproved destination or an out-of-policy action to remain on hold. A timeout or unanswered approval request must not become permission to proceed.
Who gets the question?
Agree a named owner and authorized delegate for each workflow. A proposed responsibility model is: sales for buyer outreach and lead handling; marketing for campaign spend and audiences; security or privacy for data-access exceptions; the platform owner for connector or runtime changes. Test the escalation route. If no authorized reviewer is available, keep the action held.
The BDC manager approves a proposed CRM activity only after checking the event remains open and the partner has authority. Repeated delivery attempts must update the same task rather than create duplicates.
Named-owner routing is configured and demonstrated for each deployment. Governance covers actions routed through its configured boundary; external systems remain responsible for actions outside that scope.

Control through the full relationship

Customer matching, names and contact rules stay in the agreed dealer-controlled environment. HiveSilo receives permitted non-PII handoff and outcome signals. DealerSocket and each partner keep their own contractual data responsibilities; access to an advanced deal push does not justify forwarding unnecessary finance details.
Customer identity custody is separate from HiveSilo account, billing and support records. Re-identifiable pseudonymous data is not anonymous.

Match the connection direction to the decision.
DealerSocket’s public API page distinguishes outbound deal pushes and lead forwarding from selected inbound activity, call, note, customer and event updates. These are different permissions; the page does not establish unrestricted historical reading.
Choose the smallest approved exchange for the specific partner workflow. Confirm current partnership terms, fields, history and retry behavior before enabling a write. An activity label mentioning work notes is not proof of a general note-reading API.
A useful fit when
Designed for high-volume BDC teams whose external partners carry meaningful parts of the customer journey.
- Partner work continues outside the CRM’s ordinary task view.
- Managers need evidence to review service levels and renewals.
- The business can assign an owner to every unresolved handoff.
Consider the fit
- A direct in-house sales process may have little need for partner reconciliation.
- Evaluate DealerSocket’s current AI and reporting functions first, so a new layer addresses the remaining outside boundary.
In your enquiry, name DealerSocket CRM and the business decision. Please leave out client records, credentials and sensitive samples.
Eight questions before your briefing
1.How is this different from DealerSocket’s own lead scoring?
DealerSocket’s current Solera material markets lead scoring, conversational AI and sales coaching. This proposed workflow evaluates something different: whether an outside provider accepted and completed a particular customer request. A high-scoring lead can still have an unresolved handoff. The useful output is a substantiated partner action, with the CRM’s native sales tools continuing to support the relationship. [P008-S01]
2.Which direction do DealerSocket’s APIs support?
The public catalogue separates outbound lead or deal pushes from selected inbound activity and record updates. An available outbound route does not automatically provide a historical read, and a permitted activity update does not authorize all customer changes. Scope the handoff and return path individually with the dealer and relevant integration partner before deciding what can be automated. [P008-S02]
3.Can we compare partners without exporting full deal records?
That should be the aim. A permitted handoff reference, requested service, acknowledgement and completion time can often support the comparison. Customer matching stays inside your controlled environment. Avoid advanced deal fields, finance information and unrestricted message bodies when they do not change the operational decision, and agree what the partner is allowed to return for this purpose. [P008-S02]
4.What if the partner’s completion message arrives twice?
Use a stable handoff reference and an agreed update rule, so a repeated delivery updates the same internal case rather than opening a new customer task. Confirm this behavior for the implemented interface. The record should distinguish retries from fresh work and retain the observed times, allowing the BDC manager to understand why a task changed.
5.Does a missing acknowledgement mean the partner failed?
Not necessarily. The partner may be working, or its response may be delayed or unavailable to the approved feed. The proposed review marks the evidence as missing and asks the relationship owner to check. A service-level judgement should use the agreed response window and a reliable observation trail, rather than assume silence equals an unsuccessful customer outcome.
6.What if the customer bought while the partner task was open?
Check the current CRM event and assigned owner before proposing any new action. A closed or sold event may make the earlier request obsolete, or the customer may still need a separate fulfillment step. The BDC manager decides which applies. Suppress duplicate outreach while that distinction is resolved and preserve the customer’s current contact instructions.
7.Does being in the certified-partner directory grant us every interface?
The directory shows an established integration ecosystem. Actual authorization comes from the dealer’s contract, the specific partnership and the permitted operation. It does not establish HiveSilo’s certification or transfer another partner’s rights. Use the directory to identify the proper route, then document the precise data exchange needed for the chosen handoff. [P008-S03]
8.What would a useful first evaluation cover?
Pick one partner and one service, such as appointment setting. Agree the meaning of forwarded, accepted and completed, then compare a controlled observation period with the current BDC process. Review genuine discrepancies, resolution time and duplicate work. Bring the partner relationship owner into the briefing so the proposed output has someone able to act on it.
